Why We Provide Free Cleanings?
At It’s Cleaning Time, we believe a clean home is more than just tidy — it’s the foundation for wellbeing, peace of mind, and the freedom to live your best life. It’s what allows you to feel supported and cared for, even when life gets heavy.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Cleaning for a Reason, providing free cleanings to patients undergoing cancer treatment. It’s a small way we can live out our mission: to create spaces that truly support people, so they have more room to focus on healing, family, and the moments that matter most.
Because for us, caring for homes is really about caring for the people inside them.

Cleaning for a Reason is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free home cleaning services to cancer patients. We believe in the power that a clean living environment can have on a patient’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Cleaning for a Reason partners with qualified, local residential cleaning companies across the United States and Canada. Our partners are dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer and providing their services at no cost to the patient.
We serve all individuals and families with any type of cancer. Patients are eligible if they are recovering from cancer surgery, in cancer treatment, or in hospice care.
There is no cost to the patient – our amazing cleaning partners donate their time and services as a way of giving back to individuals and families in their communities.
We accept applications online. Please visit the Learn More & Apply page under the Patients tab to complete an application. You will be asked to submit patient information such as your email, name, and address.
Your generous donation will help Cleaning for a Reason grow and support additional cancer patients. Visit our Donors page to access our secure online donation platform. You may donate $10, $25, $50, $100, or another amount of your choosing. We also accept donations via check. Please make your check payable to Cleaning for a Reason and send it to our P.O. Box:
