I’m Eloisa Alvarez, and my journey began in a place of desperation and determination. In 2003, I found myself facing a financial hole that threatened my family’s well-being. I was desperate for a solution—a way to care for my loved ones when everything seemed to be falling apart.
Back then, I had just started cleaning my boss’s home, only to realize that I knew nothing about cleaning American homes. It was then that I stumbled upon an ad: “I teach housewives to clean, The Kastle Keeper.” With equal parts fear and excitement, I called the number and soon discovered a mentor who would change my life forever. It was a lifeline that helped me transition from chaos to a purposeful passion.
My previous experience creating businesses from scratch in Mexico had shown me the importance of empowering women—especially when they are the pillars of their households.
I always believed that when women have stability and value in their work, it transforms not only their own lives but the lives of their entire families. This belief drove me to build a business that would support and uplift first-generation immigrant women, many of whom shared my heritage and the challenges of starting over.

In the early days, as I called my clients to schedule the next day’s cleaning, I instinctively said, “It’s cleaning time!” That simple phrase captured my commitment to service and became the very name of our company: It’s Cleaning Time!, LLC. I soon discovered that my own health was a catalyst for change—my immune system couldn’t tolerate the harsh chemicals in traditional cleaning products. Determined to protect myself and my clients, I embraced green cleaning and eco-responsible practices. This commitment to non-toxic, safe cleaning wasn’t just a business decision—it was a way to care for our environment, our teams, and every family we served.
The growth of my business was a family affair. My husband, Mario, joined me in the company by our third year, and together we learned to share responsibilities and build a strong, dedicated team. In 2010, I had the opportunity to work as a Housekeeping Manager for a small local hotel. This role, paired with our expanding operations, allowed us to significantly increase our income and take on new challenges. Along the way, I also invested in personal growth coaching—a decision that not only opened doors for my business but enriched our entire family’s outlook on life and success.
Today, It’s Cleaning Time! is more than just a cleaning service—it’s a symbol of resilience, hope, and the power of community. We’ve serviced thousands of homes with our eight dedicated teams of professionals who treat every client’s home with the respect it deserves. We painstakingly ensure that every cleaning process is safe, using non-toxic products as our first choice and only resorting to harsher chemicals when absolutely necessary. Our commitment to preventing cross-contamination, using color-coded microfibers, and maintaining a healthy home environment is something I am incredibly proud of.
I’m grateful not only for the business success but for the family that has grown around it. Born in Cleveland but raised with the vibrant spirit of Mexico City, I met my husband Mario while he was finishing college in Mexico. Our life together expanded with children and later, with our extended family all working together to support this dream. Every day, I am inspired by the women who have found strength and purpose through our company and by the countless families who experience the peace of coming home to a clean, healthy space.
